Mr. Morris serves as CEO of ARA, holding leadership positions in the operating companies we invest in. These include AC Self Storage, Real Clear Software, Summit Senior Living and SVN Realty Advisors. Mr. Morris has transitioned, managed and worked on over 300 national and global corporate and institutional portfolio accounts. His experience includes portfolio optimization, asset management, strategic planning, transaction management, logistics, transition planning, consulting, cost reduction strategies and complex transactions.
Mr. Morris previously served as Executive Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield, leading their Client Solutions business which encompassed seven global business units, 600 million SF under management, 7,000 employees and $1.5b in revenues. The business units let by Mr. Morris included consulting, transaction management, property management, facility management, project management and customer relationship management.
Mr. Morris has also served as President of Grubb & Ellis Corporate Services Group, leading its global operations. He is a member of CoreNet, NAIOP and graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics.
Mr. Dadivas serves as Controller for ARA and the companies it has invested in. Mr. Dadivas was previously Corporate Controller for SWD Communities, LLC for 9 years, Mr. Dadivas assisted in a successful multi-million liquidation and turnover plan with his partner, a major International company. He also assisted in cost cutting measures, and minimizing overhead expenses during times of economic uncertainty.
Prior to SWD Communities, Mr. Dadivas has worked with various Real Estate Developers and Home Builders for 13 years, and have successfully setup and implemented various accounting software to streamline accounting operations. This resulted in accurate financial reporting, Budgeting, Pro forma setup and updates, Subcontract and Loan management. Mr. Dadivas has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management and Accounting from La Salle University and has a Specialized Degree in Information System.
Ms. Roberts is responsible for Investor Services, invesetment administration and accounting for ARA operating companies and our investors. Ms. Roberts has extensive customer service, accounting & payroll experience in a variety of industries, including extensive computer experience in programming, database management & technical support.
Mr. Downing is the CEO of AC Self Storage Solutions, LLC, and has had a varied career in Academia, Technology, Venture, and Real Estate. Mr. Downing has been focused on the acquisition, development, and management of Commercial Real Estate for more than a decade with an emphasis on Self Storage acquisitions and property management.
Mr. Downing heads the acquisition and due-diligence efforts at AC Self Storage Solutions. Mr. Downing has been heavily involved in the Self Storage industry both in terms of asset and property management as well as a writer and contributor to various industry trade publications, such as Mini Storage Messenger and various Commercial Real Estate newsletters and blogs.
Mr. Nunes is responsible for all lender, legal, acquisition and investor compliance with AC Self Storage Solutions. He also supports the firm’s due diligence efforts for new acquisition. Mr. Nunes was previously the Director of due diligence at EBS, which acquired approximately 70 storage assets. Mr. Nunes has been instrumental in the processing of investments for more than 2,000 clients.
Dana L. Haynes is the President of SSL and his firm, Citivest, Inc. has provided additional depth and capital for SSL. Mr. Haynes has over 35 years’ experience as a business executive and consultant in the real estate and construction industry, and as a litigation consultant and testifying expert.
Since 1987 Dana Haynes has been a principal of Citivest, Inc., a real estate investment, construction, and property management firm. Citivest specializes in the construction, renovation and management of residential, retail, office and industrial projects. Citivest, Inc. has the managed over 2,000 apartment units, 2,000 single family homes, and 2m sf of commercial, retail and industrial projects. Its clients have included the RTC, FDIC, and a number of Southern California based financial institutions. Citivest, Inc. has been involved in government assisted housing programs, including work with various redevelopment agencies. Mr. Haynes received his B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1981 with honors and his M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1985.
Mr. Ashin is a principal with Summit Senior Life, LLC (“SSL”) and returned to SSL (previously Pacific Summit Development) after a six year absence when he served as Vice President of Catlin Properties in Sacramento, California. Mr. Ashin resumed his former position as Vice President, Development, responsible for acquisition, project review, project management and opening new markets.
Mr. Ashin is based in Pacific Summit’s Sacramento office, with a focus throughout California and the Western United States. Locating in Sacramento allows Mr. Ashin greater convenience and flexibility servicing the needs of clients and projects in Northern and Central California and the Intermountain West.
Mr. Gee is a principal with SSL. Prior to SSL, Mr. Gee co-founded Axxcess Capital, LLC, and was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Argus Realty Investors, L.P. where he led the acquisition group which raised over $700min equity and acquired more than $1.6 billion of commercial real estate from 2001-2007. Mr. Gee has more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience in brokerage, syndications, acquisitions, debt and equity financing, asset management, joint ventures, and development and rehabilitation of commercial and apartment projects.
From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Gee was Executive Vice President for a national real estate syndication company specializing in Section 1031 exchanges utilizing a tenant-in-common ownership structure. From 1988 to 1998 Mr. Gee was Managing Director of Inter Capital Partners, Ltd., where he and his partners acquired, rehabilitated and sold $150 million of apartments, and developed and sold approximately 600,000 square feet of retail properties. Prior to 1988, Mr. Gee headed one of three national real estate acquisition teams for Cal Fed Syndications, a publicly traded master limited partnership. Mr. Gee is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and received a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Miami.
Mr. Freed is a principal with SSL. Mr. Freed has extensive background in development, project management and the construction process. His building career and experience spans the past 25 years encompassing multi-family and single family residential, medical, retail/office, mixed use, and multi-building complexes totaling in excess of 1.5 million square feet.
Mr. Freed's experience also includes specialty construction, including medical & surgical, MRI/X-ray, laboratory, restaurant, educational/university, spa & fitness, and marina development. A licensed building contractor, Mr. Freed also holds a California real estate license, has a project management accreditation from San Diego State University, and is an alumnus of the University of San Diego with recognition in Entitlement, Development, and Design. A member of the Building Industry Association, Mr. Freed was elected to the Board of Directors for the Building Industry Association San Diego in 2014.
Mr. Sausser is a principal with SVN Realty advisors and a Regional Director for the firm’s national Corporate Real Estate Services platform. Mr. Sausser his real estate career in 1979, and has been affiliated with Grubb-Ellis as a Regional Director of Corporate Services; Koll Corporate Advisors-Western Regional Director; The Staubach Company as Senior Vice President,; and Director of Marketing for The Gale Company for its 70m sf joint venture development with Korea in the Songdo City project.
Mr. Sausser has extensive experience in several real estate markets throughout the United States and abroad. Services encompass strategic planning, value enhancement, corporate outsourcing, Transaction Management, Portfolio and Business Consulting, and site selection. Mr. Sausser has been an invited speaker at Cityscape Asia, REIW-Asia, REC Retail Investment Conference 2009, REC Retail Investment Conference 2010, EUCCK International Real Estate Seminar, ULI (Tokyo), Paul Mirage School of business and has been interviewed by CNN, Newsweek, Infomag, South China News, TN and numerous Korean television stations, magazines and newspapers. Organizations Chris participates in include American Chamber of Commerce-Korea Board of Governors, American Chamber of Commerce as Co-Chairman-Real Estate Committee, European Union Chamber of Commerce-Korea, Co-Chair Real Estate Committee, Investment Advisor to Ministry of Land Transport and Maritime Affairs.
Mr. Forsthoffer is a principal with SVN Realty Advisors and a Regional Director for the firm’s national Corporate Real Estate Services platform. Mr. Forsthoffer has extensive experience in providing the control, consistency, quality, and creative solutions for corporate clients with large domestic and global portfolios based in the US. Prior to joining SVN, Forsthoffer was the Sr. Managing Director, for Cushman & Wakefield responsible for all corporate work in the Northeast. Prior to C&W, Forsthoffer was Executive Vice President, Eastern Regional Managing Director of Grubb & Ellis’ Corporate Services Group (CSG). Mr. Forsthoffer’s career spans 29 years of corporate real estate services, portfolio management, leasing, management, and consulting. In 1982, Forsthoffer relocated to the Hartford, Connecticut, where he started his own firm, The Forsthoffer Group, and specialized in transactions and consulting throughout Connecticut and eventually handled national representation for real estate portfolios of several Connecticut-based companies in excess of 1.5 million square feet. His firm was in operation for 20 years, and his clients included Cigna, Phoenix Life Insurance, Barclays Business Credit, and several technology companies in the Hartford, Connecticut area. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Management and Leasing at the Justice Corporation (Clearwater, Florida) where had responsibility of 3 million square feet of office property throughout Florida for institutional owners. Before joining the Justice Corporation, Forsthoffer was regional manager of Lincoln Property Company in Tampa overseeing 500,000 sf of office properties. Forsthoffer holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of South Florida. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker for the State of Connecticut and Massachusetts. His professional affiliations include CoreNet Global, BOMA, and the CoreNet Westchester/Connecticut Chapter – Board of Directors.
Loree Misch understands clients’ needs because she has been in their shoes. Loree has over 20 years of broad-based experience analyzing commercial real estate and corporate cash flows, structuring investments, strategic planning, and running companies. Her diverse experience gives her insight into the many ways investments and institutions succeed or veer off course. Previously, as company founder of Tamarack Capital Partners, she successfully managed her mezzanine debt investment fund through 9/11 and its after-effects on the credit market as well as through The Great Recession of 2008. She has a dual perspective as a recipient of investment funds from outside investors, as an investor in companies, and helping major institutions make tough decisions on their real estate to ensure investment and institutional success.
Before joining SVN Realty Advisors, Loree achieved success in finance and planning, for The Walt Disney Company where she analyzed and compiled the 5-year plan and budget for its new and existing resorts, retail, and recreation. She was Director of the University of Florida’s Faculty Group Practice, and was responsible for the analysis and evaluation of its outpatient clinics. She assisted in the start-up of a real estate consulting company that served hospitality based retail properties. As a graduate assistant, she provided research for and edited the business plan for the public private partnership now known as Enterprise Florida.
Misch earned her B.S. in Finance from the Florida Institute of Technology, with honors, received her M.B.A. in real estate and urban analysis from the University of Florida, and attended the Venture Capital Institute. She has completed Certified Commercial Investment Member Courses, 101, 102, 103, and 104.
While not in the office, you’ll find her on a stand up paddle board on Lady Bird Lake, (still) trying to master the tree pose in yoga and play the drums (not at the same time), and cultivating her urban garden so that her young son has plenty of cherry tomatoes to pick.
Mr. Wieck is a Director for SVN and member of the Corporate Real Estate Services Team, is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of Delaware and national advisor with 5 years of experience. Mr. Wieck creates value for corporations, private equity firms, governments, universities, healthcare systems, and non-profits through real estate brokerage, optimization, and portfolio management. In addition, he provides consulting services, including valuation, project management, development, project finance, data analytics, feasibility, economic development, and strategic marketing. He has had extensive training and experience in the evaluation, coordination and development of team performance. Prior to SVN, Mr. Wieck spent 3 years with the JP Morgan Chase, Co., where he served business and investment analyst roles in Asset Management and Retirement Plan Services. As a Business Analyst for JP Morgan Chase, Co. Mr. Wieck grew and advanced the success of the reconciliation teams, playing in intricate role at two locations in Newark, DE and Overland Park, KS. Mr. Wieck is co-developing and presenting symposia on public and private asset optimization and place-making economic development, with successful events in Seattle, Wilmington, Champaign-Urbana, Boca Raton, Salisbury, Dover, and Baltimore. Mr. Wieck is currently is a candidate for the M.S. Real Estate & Infrastructure Program at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School and completed a B.S. in Finance from the University of Delaware in 2011.
Prior to joining SVN | Realty Advisors Peter Dumaine was a Associate Advisor with SVN | Graham, Langlois & Legendre in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, representing national and regional tenants throughout Louisiana. These services encompass overseeing the strategy, management and value enhancement of real estate assets and business operations on behalf of our partners and clients. SVN applies a sophisticated, integrated business approach to align real estate investment and occupancy strategies with overall client objectives, performance requirements and enhancing competitive advantage.
Mr. Moore is an Account Manager with SVN Realty Advisors. Prior to joining SVN Realty Advisors Mr.Moore was an Advisor with the SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate office in Salisbury, Maryland from 2013-2017. He represented national and regional tenants, in addition to managing real estate portfolios for over 30 regional landlords. Mr. Moore has a depth of experience in consulting services, strategic marketing, valuations, the leasing of commercial real estate, the sale of commercial real estate, and portfolio management. Mr. Moore graduated from Salisbury University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. With deep family ties in the real estate industry, he continues to carry on the family tradition of assisting others in realizing the value of real estate assets and business operations. Mr. Moore focuses on his client’s real estate and operating success through client experiences, operational understanding, and performance results.
